From the vineyards of Las Compuertas in Mendoza to your glass in Amsterdam, the Durigutti Family Winemakers stand out as champions of both tradition and innovation. Founded in 2002 by brothers Héctor and Pablo Durigutti, this organic, family-run estate is rooted in preserving old vines, native biodiversity, and creating wines that truly express their terroir.

Heritage, Sustainability & Vision
Durigutti’s ambitions go beyond crafting fine Malbecs. They revitalized Finca Victoria, a historic vineyard established in Las Compuertas, and transformed it into a living demonstration of organic and regenerative agriculture. With vineyards dating back to 1910–1914, their vision includes forest conservation, zero-waste initiatives, and wine tourism integrated into the ecosystem.
Their commitment is reflected by recognition around the world:
Named Best Winemakers of the Year by Tim Atkin MW (2023). Decanter
Won multiple high-profile awards at the 2023 Decanter World Wine Awards, including Best in Show for a Malbec and several Gold and Silver medals. Decanter
Among the Top 10 world’s best vineyards in 2024—the only Argentinian estate included.
Crafting Terroir-Driven Wines
Durigutti’s philosophy is anchored in expressing place over fashion. They carry out thoughtful micro-terroir research, use native yeasts, and work with minimal intervention to let the land shine in each bottle. As Carina Valicati, Marketing & Tourism Director, explains, their goal is to celebrate terroir through innovation and sensitivity.
