Hijas del Rey Cava de Guarda Brut Método Tradicional
A Cava with a little more attitude. Produced in Penedès from the traditional Cava varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, Hijas del Rey is everything we want from a good Cava: fresh, characterful, wonderfully drinkable and distinctly Mediterranean.
Following its second fermentation, the wine spends approximately 9–12 months in contact with its lees, bringing a subtle yeasty complexity to the fresh fruit character of the local grape varieties.
The striking red label may get your attention first. What's inside the bottle is the reason you'll come back.
Hijas del Rey is the kind of Cava we love to have in the fridge: fresh, characterful and ready for almost any occasion. Made from the classic Cava trio of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, it spends around 9–12 months on its lees, adding subtle complexity without losing its bright, easy-drinking character. And yes, the rather striking label helps too.
